HoW IT ALL STARTED

Once, in a Brooklyn vintage store we started talking to this old local dude. He was curious, he looked at us, and asked us where we were from. We said Sweden and Norway. "Ah" he said. " You are the vikings." We looked at each other. None of us being very tall. "No, not exactly vikings". Then he walked on and turned around and said "Ah, you are the Forest People". "Yes, yes we are."

Lisa Marie Kristensen is born and raised in Kautokeino, she worked at Swedish Television (SVT) as a documentary series and content producer for many years. Per-Josef Idivuoma is born and raised in Idivuoma, and worked at Swedish Radio (Sveriges Radio) before he started his own company and started making short films. In a semi-spontaneus moment Lisa quit her job and decided it was time to go home and start our own production company. So we did. We have offices in the town square in Kautokeino and so far so good.
